Hydrogels consist in polymeric matrices with characteristics such as minimal toxicity, intumecimento in water and biological fluids, elastomeric consistency and high permeability, which makes a product with excellent applications in medicine as drug carriers. Curatives can act as therapeutic agents, acting beneficially in the healing process. This study consisted of developing nanobiocompósitos in the form of hydrogel, comprising chitosan and cellulose nanowhiskers, extracted from cotton. Investigates occlusive curatives that oportunizem medicate pain, conserve moisture, absorb exudates, enhance epithelialization and angiogenesis and prevent contamination. The hydrogel was characterized by infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTIR) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Through the FTIR analysis confirmed cellulose nanocrystals in chitosan hydrogel.
