Abstract

The work proposes the reading of the Ecstasy of Santa Teresa, by Gian Lorenzo Bernini (1589 - 1680), explaining Bernini 's description in the work and relating imageally between the sacred and the profane, approaching elements that represent the gaze of the Divine and the Human and The communication between them, both formed by a carnal gaze.
